Shane -- I do like the origami horse image: may I save a copy to share with my students?

Thanks,

This made me laugh at first, but then I realized it's the end of childhood innocence as well as literal summer.

Yes...the loss of innocence..one of your best, Shane!

Shane,
This lollipop is quite gorgeous: I love the theme. And thanks for letting me use the horse:-)

Michele sent me,
N.

Michele sent me, Shane. This is something else. Really strong. Very clever.

What a gorgeous picture! And yet the words make me a little scared...my daughter turns into a TEENAGER next year and I really felt this one. :)

Hmmm, you've got my mind churning - again! The end of the innocence, perhaps?

Indeed, there's a certain shift at the end of the summer, a chance from not-so-serious detachment from life to somewhat-more-serious focus on the things that matter. Makes me with summer lasted a little bit longer.

You've captured a powerful mental image in this, Shane. It's going to color the rest of my day as I bounce it around my head.

Thank you, again, for provoking thought. You have such a gift.
