MONKEYS (inkblot)

I did an inkblot splash for kicks and asked my wife if she noticed anything. She pointed out the big monkey on the bottom, which I immediately noticed as soon as she said it. She then put me in monkey mode as I noticed its friend up at the left. Naturally, I had to add a senryu (similar to haiku, but with satire or irony).

How cool. I like looking for things in ink blots, and in the clouds too. Michele sent me. Thanks for coming to visit and signing my map.

I see another monkey with head bent. This is very artistic.

That senryu works very well here. Long time I wrote a senryu. Thanks for remining me.

Glad Michele sent me here to look you up.

I love it! The little ones here are huge fans of "five little monkeys", and they look just like them...

Cool looking monkeys.

I have never and would never paint my cat's toe nails. Wendell is sporting Soft Paws in that photo--they are nail toppers meant to prevent furniture scratching as a humane alternative to declawing. They work, but are a pain to get on and constantly fall off--not to mention I have a cat who eats things he shouldn't--so he no longer wears them.

And I think I see a cat way down there at the bottom of the page. He is clearly looking up at the monkeys.

I love when we are surprised by the direction our work takes. They are often the most satisfying results of our gifts.

I love how you create and share, Shane. My kids will LOVE this one!

Michele says hi. As do I.

Very clever.
I approve of anything with monkeys. There should be more monkeys.

Michele sent me this morning.

I should try splash paintings. Those take us to different directions.

I suppose Michele wants me to haunt you..:D

Hi Shane,
Michele sent me to see your monkeys - how cool are inkblots! We used to do these at school and then make pictures.

Wow! It's like a Rorschack inkblot test with the answers! :)

It's also a really cool piece of art. How clever of you both to notice the monkey's.

Michele sent me over to admire your work.

Hey, I like. And yes, I'll make a monkey out of myself, too, and make another youtube JUST FOR YOU:-)

I refuse to believe that you didn't just draw some monkeys that 'looked' like inkblots. :)
