As a peep purist, I truly appreciate that you (rightly) refer to the combination of Yellow and Bird as a peep - no of those blue rabbits for me thank you! Michele would no doubt appreciate as well.
I agree--the rabbits are a disgrace, but not as bad as the Peep Santas. I mean, they're cute, and it's up to the company that makes them to expand into new holiday markets and make a buck, but to me, it's an Easter-time treat.
Also, Peeps are awesome to watch in the microwave.
